Terms of Service

1. Who you are contracting with

These terms are between you and Lincolne Ventures Limited, registered at 55 Melrose Avenue, London, England, SW19 8BU. Using gtd_done means you accept them. Stop using the service if you do not.

2. What gtd_done does

gtd_done is a task manager built on the Getting Things Done method. You capture tasks, size them, organise them into initiatives, and schedule them against your calendar. Connect a Google account and the app reads your calendar, writes events for the tasks you schedule, and offers booking links other people can use to claim your open time. Our Privacy Policy covers what we do with the data.

3. Your account

You need an account to use the app, and new accounts are currently by invitation. Keep your password to yourself, give us an email address that reaches you, and tell us at support@gtd-done.com if someone else gets into your account. What happens under your login is your responsibility.

You must be 16 or older.

Adding a delegate or joining a shared workspace lets those people see and change what you share with them. Pick them carefully.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use gtd_done to break the law, to store or send material you have no right to, or to harass anyone. Do not send unsolicited mail through booking links or invitations. Do not try to reach other users' data, probe or overload our systems, scrape the service, or resell it as your own.

You are responsible for the email addresses you enter. Add someone as a participant or a guest and Google will email them, so have a reason to.

We can suspend an account that breaks these rules.

5. Price and trial

gtd_done costs $8 per month, billed annually. Every account starts with a 30-day free trial with every feature switched on and no card required.

After the trial you need an active plan to add new tasks and initiatives. Your existing work stays readable, finishable and exportable whether or not you pay.

Prices may change. We will tell you before a change affects what you are charged, and a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

6. Your content stays yours

You own what you put into gtd_done. Your tasks, notes, files and projects belong to you, and we claim no rights over them. We store and process that content only to run the service for you, as set out in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train machine learning or AI models.

You can export your work at any time.

7. Availability

gtd_done is early software and we offer no uptime guarantee at this stage. The service may go down for maintenance, for a provider outage, or because we shipped a bug. Features may change or be withdrawn.

Parts of the app depend on Google's APIs. Google can change or restrict those APIs, and calendar features may stop working if it does.

Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

8. Liability

gtd_done is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss. Where we are liable, our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law says cannot be limited.

9. Ending the agreement

Close your account whenever you like, from Settings or by writing to support@gtd-done.com. Deleting your account removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we are required to, or if we stop running the service. Where we close the service down, we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your work. If we end a paid plan early for any reason other than your breach, we refund the unused part.

10. Changes to these terms

We update these terms as the service changes. The effective date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will email you before they take effect, and using the app afterwards means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
